Cornelia trained at the Friedrich-Schiller-University in Jena as a physics laboratory technician. After working at the Akademie der Wissenschaften, she moved to the Ingenieursbüro für Spezialmesstechnik with Jan Popien and Edlef Büttner. In 1993, Cornelia joined them at A·P·E, where she is now an authorised officer assisting the Managing Directors on all company matters.
