Thomas is responsible for leading all technical design and software development at A·P·E. After studying Technical Engineering at the Technical University of Dresden, Thomas began his career at the Institute for Communications Engineering in Berlin as a technical designer, with a role in the testing department for circuit layouts.
In 1992, Thomas met Jan Popien and Edlef Büttner, and joined with them to found A·P·E.
